Apheon is a pan-European mid-market investment company managing approximately €3 billion of assets from select global institutional investors and families. Since its founding in 2005, Apheon has invested in around 40 companies and completed about 180 add-on acquisitions.

The challenge

To support the exit preparations of one of its portfolio companies, the CFO and Apheon considered to temporarily onboard exit process support to ensure that all information is provided and presented in a consistent and timely manner to VDD providers. Besides the efficiency in delivering all information first time right, this has allowed the CFO to continue his focus on the business and key strategic exit streams.

Our Collaboration

The Sweaver with a background in Transaction Services (FDDs) at a Big4 firm and investment manager experience, became part of the company team for a longer period of time while phasing capacity depending on workload. He became the driving force behind making business cases, preparing detailed forecasts and budgets, cost/revenue driver analyses, sharpening reporting, gathering all info to feed a virtual data room.
