We couldn’t stay behind in podcast land. So here it is: “De ratrace uit”, a brand new podcast series hosted by Sweaver and podcastmaker Danique Havenga.

In six episodes, Danique speaks with ambitious professionals who left the golden cage of corporate life to do something different. Something more meaningful. More free. Less buzzword bingo.

What made them walk away? What do they do now? And what bits of corporate life still make them cringe?

In this episode, Danique speaks with Lois van der Meijden, founder of Fanny Fit: lingerie for women that actually feels good to wear. After studying Mathematics, Lois began her career at HAL Investments, where she worked for over five years. Yet a question started to nag at her: is this really it?

Becoming an entrepreneur was probably the last thing she ever thought she’d do, she preferred to stay well within the lines. But when a friend asked her to start a company together, a seed was planted. Today, they run a successful business, and Lois genuinely enjoys life as an entrepreneur.

A conversation about performance pressure, taking risks, and the surprising sides of stepping outside your comfort zone.
