Exact is a Dutch software company that offers innovative cloud business software, supporting over 550,000 SMEs and accountants. It has subsidiaries and offices in Europe, North America and Asia and is owned by US-based Private Equity firm KKR.

 

The challenge

Exact has an in-house M&A team to execute on their ambitious buy-and-build agenda. However, transactions vary in magnitude and volume and exact timing of deals is hard to anticipate. So when the team gets (too) busy, flexible support is much desired.
