Last week, we welcomed 20 strategy and M&A directors at Baut Amsterdam, an eclectic venue known for its high-quality food and great vibes, excluding any fluff.
After 2.5 years down the road with Sweav, we’ve established a strong community of freelance strategy and M&A professionals. Now it’s time to do some client community building as well.
The role of strategy or M&A director is relatively new. These professionals are peers in very successful or promising Dutch companies, but most of them didn’t know each other.
Therefore, we hosted Sweav’s first ‘Strategy and M&A director dinner’ on 11 June. Not one of those traditional corporate events. But one that was fun and dynamic to attend.
Partly thanks to our guest speakers, we look back on a great event. Niels Onkenhout, CEO at Nederlandse Loterij, and Stef van Hout, Director Strategy and Transformation at Nobian, held very inspirational talks on ‘CEO’s lessons on successful integrations’ and ‘decarbonization in the energy transition’, respectively.
We are excited to continue to build the Sweav member and client communities.
