Eurofiber is a leading provider of digital infrastructure, specializing in fiber-optic connectivity and cloud solutions. Since entering the telecom market in 2000, Eurofiber has expanded its own meshed fiber-optic network and, as a result, continues to grow with the evolving needs of the digital society. Today, the company operates across the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Germany.

The challenge

Eurofiber’s growth is partly driven by an ambitious buy-and-build agenda. Once Eurofiber successfully acquires a target, the Post Merger Integration (PMI) team takes over and integrates the business according to a pre-agreed integration plan. In addition, the team works closely with the acquiring Business Unit and supportive functions. However, when several integration projects run simultaneously, the team sometimes lacks the capacity to manage them all effectively.

Our Collaboration

Sweav selected a Sweaver with a background at Deloitte and experience as COO of a mid-market PE-owned company to join the PMI team and lead the integration of a mid-sized acquisition into one of the business units. In this role, the Sweaver managed all integration workstreams and worked directly with the business unit director, workstream leads from within the business, and the PMI team.
