The challenge

Uber Eats is an online food ordering and delivery platform launched by Uber in 2014. The meals are delivered by couriers using various methods, including cars, scooters, bikes, or on foot. It is operational in over 6,000 cities in 45 countries as of 2021. The Uber Eats operations team faced the challenge of quickly setting up new large strategic partnerships. The workload coming from the challenge was too much to handle with the existing capacity of the team.
