On Thursday 2 October we gathered with the key players in private equity for the second edition of our annual private equity dinner. This time at Helling 7, a former shipyard canteen on the IJ, right in the heart of the old harbor district with stunning views over Amsterdam. 

We welcomed investment and operating partners and directors from some of the leading Private Equity firms in the Benelux, including Mentha, Torqx Capital, Parcom and H2 Equity Partners as well as seven of our valued Sweav Members. 

We want to thank Niels Onkenhout, CEO of Eyecare group, for his inspiring keynote on building a strong business through genuine value creation. His opening story about allodoxaphobia, the fear of other people’s opinions, is a powerful reminder to stay the course, invest patiently, and build value over time rather than chasing short-term validation.
