In this episode, Danique speaks with Emma Kloppert. Emma began her career with a management traineeship at Heineken, where she quickly realised she wanted to create more impact. After a few years, she made the move into the public sector, working at the Netherlands Enterprise Agency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on themes such as entrepreneurship and sustainability. Still, she found herself struggling with the hierarchy and way of working there.

After an intense period of recovery from a severe concussion, Emma decided to finally bring a long-held idea to life. She founded The Green Times: a media platform that gives a stage to entrepreneurs building a sustainable economy. The platform is now growing rapidly, and Emma was recently named entrepreneurial talent of 2026 by FD.

A conversation about stepping out of the rat race, dealing with physical and mental boundaries, learning to listen to yourself again, and building a company that truly aligns with who you are.

This episode is a collaboration between SWEAV and MIDDLE CHILD MEDIA.
