In this episode, Danique speaks with Wouter van Haaften. Entrepreneurship was part of his path from early on, showing up in all kinds of ideas and small ventures alongside his studies. His career began as a digital strategy consultant at SparkOptimus, where he worked for almost four years at the intersection of technology and business.
He then decided to change course and start working for himself. He launched several companies and worked as a freelance consultant at Sweav. When he started working more intensively with AI in 2022, everything fell into place. He saw how profoundly this technology would change the way we work and live, and decided to fully focus on it.
That led him to found WAIMAKERS, a fast-growing company that helps organisations apply AI both strategically and practically. Together with his team, he is building a new way of working in which humans and AI collaborate. He can also be heard as an AI expert on the podcast AI je nieuwe collega.
